BOOK MY CLINIC ONLINE – DIRECT OR THIRD PARTY WEBSITES ?

I book my car servicing slot online last week.  Over the weekend, I ordered some groceries over the Internet.  There seems to be no end to the things I can do just using my computer keyboard these days.  Technology has changed life as we know it.  Now, medical portals would have us book our medical appointments through their websites too.  Sounds good.  But what is the catch?  Do I get the doctors I need, or will I be nudged to see the doctors who paid most to advertise on that website?  Is it free, really?  Or does the doctor pay the website for “catching” me and then add the advertising fee to my blood test and medication?  Maybe I will try them out and see if my health gets better.
